Dr. Kazeem Olarewaju Popoola Named Pioneer Bursar of Federal University of Agriculture and Technology, Okeho

Dr. Kazeem Olarewaju Popoola has been appointed as the institution’s first Bursar of the newly established Federal University of Agriculture and Technology, Okeho (FUNATO).
Dr. Popoola, a proud indigene of Saki in Oyo State, is a Chartered Accountant, accomplished academic, and experienced administrator with a strong background in financial management. Until his new appointment, he was the Head of Finance Division and a member of the Governing Council at the Federal Polytechnic, Ayede.
He is a Fellow of the Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN) and holds memberships in several reputable professional organizations, including the Certified Cost Specialists Association (USA), the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN), and the Institute of Management Consultants (IMC). He is equally registered with the Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria (FRCN).
Observers say his selection is a reflection of merit and professionalism, and a clear signal of FUNATO’s resolve to uphold transparency, accountability, and effective resource management as it begins its academic journey.
