To His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and the Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde,

We, the Oke-Ogun Indigenous Youths Solidarity Forum, under the leadership of our National President, Comrade Dr. Ojedokun Jonathan, respectfully submit that the governorship seat of Oyo State be zoned to Oke-Ogun in 2027. This request is grounded in the region's historical marginalization and underrepresentation in the state's governance structure.

15 Compelling Reasons to Zone Governorship to Oke-Ogun

1.Historical Significance: Oke-Ogun's rich cultural heritage and historical importance make it an ideal candidate to lead Oyo State.

2. Geographical Advantage: Comprising 10 local government areas, Oke-Ogun occupies a significant portion of Oyo State's landmass.

3. Agricultural Potential: Oke-Ogun's agrarian strength and potential for industrialization through agro-processing make it a viable economic hub.

4. Unity and Solidarity: The region's unity and solidarity demonstrate its readiness for leadership.
